Senior Engineer.
Freelance Consultant.
I'm Anton Lungameni, a Senior Software Engineer with 10+ years in banking and financial systems. I work with CTOs, engineering managers, and founders as a freelance technical consultant: diagnosing pipeline waste, strengthening architecture, and building the kind of systems that survive enterprise scrutiny.

Strategic Engineering & Consulting
Three ways to engage.
An audit to diagnose the problem. A retainer to fix it over time. Specialist consulting for what comes next.
Engineering Pipeline Audit
Find out exactly why your team is moving fast but shipping slowly.
The Engagement
A focused, 2–3 week diagnostic of your CI/CD workflow, Agile ceremonies, and engineering process using Lean Six Sigma DMAIC methodology. You get a written report with prioritised fixes, not a generic deck of best practices.
Core Deliverables
- ✓ DOWNTIME waste assessment mapped to your actual pipeline
- ✓ Process Cycle Efficiency (PCE) score with improvement roadmap
- ✓ Optional: Flow metric dashboards integrated into Azure DevOps or Jira
Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt — applied inside live banking pipelines
Technical Advisory Retainer
A senior engineering mind in your corner, without the full-time cost.
The Engagement
Fractional CTO-level advisory for growing teams. I work with you on architecture decisions, system design reviews, DevOps strategy, and technical leadership on a monthly retainer that fits your stage and budget.
Core Deliverables
- ✓ Weekly or fortnightly technical check-in and review session
- ✓ Architecture blueprints and system design recommendations
- ✓ Code and PR reviews, CI/CD strategy, and RBAC design guidance
10+ years architecting systems inside high-compliance banking environments
Full-Stack Build
Scoped, greenfield web applications, delivered to production with no scope creep.
The Engagement
I take ownership of clearly scoped full-stack projects from architecture through to deployment. One project at a time, with security-first design and CI/CD included from day one.
Core Deliverables
- ✓ SvelteKit + TypeScript + PostgreSQL + Drizzle ORM
- ✓ Docker deployment with GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline
- ✓ Security-first RBAC architecture built in from the start

Research-Led Practice
Enterprise architecture grounded in live research.
My master's research focuses on a permissioned smart contract framework for secured lending against tokenized property assets in Namibia. That work sharpens the same things serious clients care about: regulatory fit, privacy, resilience, and operational realism.
This is not generic Web3 marketing. The research is centered on KYC and AML constraints, fault tolerance in resource-constrained environments, and architecture choices such as Hyperledger Fabric or R3 Corda for regulated institutions.
Question 01
Permissioned by design
Exploring blockchain models that prioritize privacy, known participants, and institutional governance over anonymous public-network assumptions.
Question 02
Regulatory alignment
Examining how tokenized-asset lending can fit KYC, AML, and secured-lending requirements under Namibia's regulatory environment.
Question 03
Fault tolerance under constraints
Designing for environments where infrastructure is not perfect, with resilient patterns such as circuit breakers, multisig controls, and efficient consensus choices.
Question 04
Practical institutional adoption
Focusing on architectures that a financial institution could actually evaluate, govern, and operate rather than speculative consumer crypto models.
Experience
Built in high-stakes environments.
Over a decade across banking platforms, central bank infrastructure, telecoms, and public-sector systems. Each role built on the last, from production support to architecture ownership.

Revenue Assurance Officer
Paratus Telecommunications
2017 to 2018
Applied software and data skills to automate reporting, reduce leakage-management effort, and improve billing accuracy through process optimization.
The Architect Behind the Code
Bridging Enterprise Compliance and Next-Generation Architecture.
The Philosophy
"I've spent 10 years inside banking systems where a bad deployment means a customer can't pay their rent. That environment taught me to build carefully, measure everything, and treat waste as the enemy. I carry those standards into every engagement, whether I'm reviewing a startup's CI/CD pipeline or designing an architecture for a financial institution."
The Pedigree
My professional foundation was built engineering digital channels for high-compliance enterprise banking environments. Operating within strict SAFe Agile frameworks, I learned exactly what it takes to keep mission-critical legacy systems running while architecting modern, secure APIs.
Alongside my full-time role, I take on a small number of freelance engagements each year, including advisory retainers, pipeline audits, and architecture reviews for teams that want a senior perspective without a permanent hire.
The Research
I am currently advancing my research at the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST), pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science. My core research focuses on developing a Permissioned Smart Contract Framework for Secured Lending Against Tokenized Property Assets. I actively bridge the gap between traditional financial compliance and the efficiency of Web3 infrastructure.
Beyond the Code
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu — White Belt, 3 Stripes
It teaches me that surviving the pressure is the first step to executing the escape.
Hobbyist Builder — GardenPalApp
A plant-tracking application I built to explore the Aspire.dev framework. Side projects are how I stay sharp on emerging tooling.
Electronics & Arduino Projects
I build hardware prototypes and embedded systems with Arduino, where software meets the physical world and debugging means checking your soldering.
Process Nerd
I actively map my own daily workflows using Lean Six Sigma DMAIC principles. If it can be measured, it can be improved.
Unique Intersection
Banking-grade systems discipline + Lean Six Sigma methodology + active research in permissioned infrastructure. A combination you won't find in most freelance marketplaces.

Permissioned Asset Registry
Research PrototypeA Solidity smart contract prototype exploring permissioned access control patterns for tokenized asset registries. Implements a three-tier data access model: public, institutional (whitelisted), and owner, directly mirroring the governance architecture required for secured lending against tokenized property assets in regulated financial environments. Built as a working prototype connected to active MCompSci research at NUST.
Deployed and source-verified on Ethereum Sepolia testnet. Demonstrates the core access control and data sovereignty patterns are at the center of ongoing M.CompSci research at NUST.
